In the farmhouse Obergostner a family of six persons is living and working together with grandpa. The children Johanna, Florian, Magdalena and Katharina help diligently their parents Elisabeth and Johann, when there is need on the field. The sprightly grandpa Balthasar then often tells about the old times of his youth …
The Obergostner farmhouse is located above the Monastery of Säben, direct along the “Keschtnweg” (way of the chestnuts) in the Val d’Isarco – South Tyrol, at an altitude of 750 meters. The sunny climate here helps the juicy fruits and good vegetables to ripen well. In our farmhouse we produce dried apples and pears with the juicy products of our fruit-trees. Our surrounding sunny plateau offers a variety of hiking and walking possibilities. |
